I remember
This entry izzen directed to anybody in particular. Im juz taking a trip down memory lane... =)
Do you rmb the first sec1 class gathering. Do you rmb dropping the insides of an apple pie in TM's music junction. Do you rmb when we discussed piercing our ears for the first time. Do you rmb the frenzied passing of postcards and replies. Do you rmb the first PSL thingy in sec1. Do you rmb "villa on venus" and the dustbins. Do you rmb the bookmark Stephanie gave us. Do you rmb "Best In Me" for teachers day. Do you rmb the "The Exorcist", truth n dare and then the water bombs. Do you rmb trying to catch crabs at Pasir ris. Do you rmb tt stupid aruguement which led to something even more stupid. Do you rmb 'stabbing' me with a pen when i tried to stop you from singing F4 songs. Do you rmb the final farewell. Do you rmb falling down the slope together on rollerblades when i tried to teach you. Do you rmb promising me tt you'll try to lemme see the inside of mediacorp studio or wadever. Do you rmb when i knocked the computer over in Lit class. Do you rmb when i thought i saw something fly past the window (prob a bird). Do you rmb going to Graffitti Imprint at TM on a wed (jocelyn went as as well but she left early) Do you rmb the original sitting arrangement with the 3 tables at the sides (jing wen, kim n me) Do you rmb when my handphone rang in english class. Well i do...
Haha sorry. One memory just brings on another n another n another.
Sometimes i wonder why we keep remembering the memories tt we want to forget, yet struggle to cling on to the pleasant thoughts tt we hold dear. Why cant the the good stuff in our lives linger? Why cant we accept tt nothing is forever and everything is temporary? Why must we set ourselves up for disappointment by holding on to things tt we know have no lasting value.. but at tt moment in time means so much to us? How do we learn to let go?
